Moving Tips

*PLEASE DO NOT WAIT TO PACK ON MOVING DAY.

Preparing ahead of time can make your moving day less stressful and saves time on both ends.

PACKING BOXES

Securing your items in boxes is important as well as knowing what items should be packed together.

Below are suggestions what to pack according to box sizes.

Small Box: Books, fragile statutes, photos, CDs/DVDs.

Medium Box: dishes, cups, mugs, electronics, files.

Large Box: Clothes, toys, stuff animals, linens, comforters.

*PLEASE REFRAIN FROM PACKING BIG BOXES TOO HEAVY FOR THEY CAN RIP APART AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR PERSONAL ITEMS.

ELECTRONICS

In order to save time for our team to move in a more efficient pace,

PLEASE DISCONNECT ANY

ELECTORNICS OR APPLIANCES.

LABELING

Labeling boxes according to the assign rooms in which items are desired to be place can help save time and a great way to stay organized.

Any fragile items that are placed in boxes should be marked fragile, so our team can know when

handling those boxes to take the extra precaution when loading and unloading. Fragile boxes should not be packed to max capacity. This can insure your items to be safely stacked in the truck.

MOVING DAY

We strongly suggest to make arrangements for children or pets to be taken care of on moving day. This will make moving day less hectic and helps our team move efficiently in and out when

loading/unloading.

Having an assigned person to guide our team can help us place your valuable items in the correct room.

If you reside or will be moving to a building, please plan ahead with whomever is in charge; In many cases reserving elevators or specifics docks is required. Please be aware if there are specific time frames in which workers are allowed on premises. By planning ahead and making these arrangements beforehand can make it easier for our team to arrive at location to start unloading.
